FRIENDLY GAMES: These are against other clubs and touring teams and are great fun.  They are in the fixtures booklet so keep your eye on the notice boards to sign up for these games. Usually tea and biscuits are served during the game, occasionally there is a meal afterwards.  Most friendly games are mixed and are usually played at weekends, although there are some midweek. These games are both home and away.

CAPTAINS DAY: A fun day for all the members of our Club – it is open to all to take part, just sign the list when it appears on the notice boards.

LEAGUES:  These operate daily. We have three time slots (four on Wednesday for Australian Pairs), to accommodate everyone who wishes to play. If you are new and wish to participate within one of the leagues, please enter your name on the availability list, which is on the notice board in the club.

If you have missed the deadline to enter, then you can put your name down as a reserve and you will be asked to play when a team is short.

SUMMER LEAGUE: We hold a summer league which begins in May and runs through to September. The club opens at 9.30am, Monday through to Friday. We hold a League on Monday and Wednesday morning which begins at 10.00 am. The facilities available include the bar, the restaurant is closed. There is also a SPOON DRIVE on Friday morning.

PRESENTATION EVENING: The presentation to the  winners and runners up of the club competitions is held prior to, and on the evening of our Annual General Meeting.

FUND RAISING: The Isle of Wight Indoor Bowls Club is always looking to improve the facilities for our members and so fundraising events and activities are very important. These include a monthly 50/50 draw during the season and various raffles. Please support us when you can.

CHARITY: The Chairman and committee choose a Charity each year and various events are held throughout the year to support this. In 2016-17, two charities were chosen to receive our support. They are the Earl Mountbatten Hospice and Ability Dogs for young people.
